It's tough to say much about Jake without first acknowledging his many nicknames: Jake the Ripper, Shake & Bake Jake, Jake the Make, Earthquake Jake, Jakeuhmillion, Jakellodeon, J-E-L-L-O Spells Jake, and For Goodness Jake. Granted I made up most of those on the fly while typing this, but you can still kind of get my point on what I'm getting at. Jake RIPS! Street, park, a parking curb... Watching him skate since his skateboard was almost as tall as him, we've always known that if it can be skated Jake will destroy it.
Public Enemy had their hype man, so we're stoked to have Cody as our hype man who also rips on his skateboard. Whether it's giving Motive shout outs at local hip-hop shows, or showing up with car loads of people who have never been to the shop, Cody has proven to be our Flava Flav hype man for life. Ever since Cody has been saying things on camera like, "My screen name says Weezer rocks," when he was about twelve, we've always enjoyed watching him land trick after trick with his smooth buttery style.
"Did you hear what T.J. landed?" is the question I hear every time I go to the skate park. Being only 16 years old he is the youngest rider on our team. Don't let his young age fool you; he still skates like a man. He will destroy every terrain. As of now he's an unknown ripper, but that will be changing shortly. We're psyched to have T.J. on our team and look forward to continuing to watch him land tricks first try that most people will never land in their lifetime.
Say what you want about Cory when you see him skating, seriously say what you want he'll have his iPod so loud that he won't hear you. Cory is a ripped ripper. If the Fremont skate scene started its own wrestling league he would be the undisputed champion! Tattoos must help people pop their boards because Cory's tricks are huge. Being a proud father, Cory does a great job balancing his skateboarding with time for his family. As stoked as we are seeing Cory rock our gear, it is way more exciting to know that Khloe Lynn has our back.
